In 2017, this small fishing village was listed by Lonely Planet among "Best Southeast Asian Destinations". If Kuta isn't your cup of tea, Pemuteran will seem like paradise nested at the foot of majestic hills, opening towards the turquoise waters and reefs surrounding the shore. In other words, it just might be the perfect spot for your next relaxed holiday or scuba diving adventures away from the hectic world.

How to Get Here

From Denpasar international airport (or from Kuta & Ubud), the shortest way takes about 3.5 hours and takes you along a spectacular scenic route, passing the rice fields, temples and Bali lakes. We know that the last thing you want after coming from the airplane is to go through all the hassle of finding a suitable transport to a distant location, so we can organize a car with a driver to pick you up and bring you to our doorstep (up to four persons for around 40 EUR). If you are coming from Java, we are an hour drive away from Gilimanuk. The same goes for Lovina.

Accommodations

Qualities that can make your holidays even nicer are certainly friendliness and willingness of your hosts to assist you in various ways. You will find these attributes in almost any accommodation price range. Your time spent in Pemuteran will tend to spiral through explorations, finding your favorite warung, relaxing at the beach, some diving and enjoying the freedom of good holidays. Allow yourself enough time for your stay here.

Exploring Pemuteran

Visit nearby temples, make a trip to local market, invite yourself to a Hindu ceremony, take a stroll on the beach. Maybe you would like to visit a small shop of locally manufactured gourmet salts. Mr. Made Gel Gel is using traditional methods to harvest fleur de mere, fantastic black salt, rare pyramid salt, chili salt, and many others. A hint: if you are looking for aromatic, top quality cinnamon, vanilla strokes or similar, ABD or Anguntani shops in Pemuteran are a much better choice than the Bedugul open market.
